My Oxbow Bungalow is pretty nice.
The woven hay floor is OK.
I thought it would be nicer if it had carpet.
The carpet of my BUNker is suitable.
I am removing the factory installed flooring of the Bungalow so that the BUNker floor will be visible.
It's a lot of work, but I don't mind.

Constantly Gardening

Ankles planted my basil plant outside.
It was still too cold.
My basil struggled to live all winter and then she killed it.

So she planted a cilantro plant.
She planted a parsley plant.
Right.
One parsley plant and one cilantro plant for one rabbit.
THEN...she found out..........it wasn't enough.
Duh.

So now there are more parsleys and some basils.
At least the roses and dandelions are blooming.

She is trying.
That deserves appreciation.

This month, I have been in The Family Room for two years.

Ankles gives me two raisins every day.

That comes out to a lot of raisins.

I have had lots of pets too.

I have destroyed a pair of shoes, two phone books, a novel, some willow balls.

I bit an Evil Stepsister on the tail(not the nice one).

It's been a productive/destructive couple of years.

Today, I celebrated by jumping over Ankles' body while she was flopped on the floor.

Grudge

Jaguar pajamas.

Ankles has some of these.
I disapprove of jaguar pajamas.
In fact, I am holding a grudge concerning the pajamas.

My grudge has a result:
Ankles feels awful.
She has increased her efforts at bonding.
The salads are better.
There is more sling time.
After sling, she will lift me up to hold me close.
I fit by her neck under her ear.
I get more petting.
She lets warm nose air flow over my ears.
That was creepy at first.
Then I got used to it.
Before long, it began to feel nice.
I loosened my shedder muscles so more rabbit hair would flow up her nose during inhales.
She kept cuddling.
She reduced her computer time so she could lie on the floor and watch me play with my towels.

One morning I refused to come out to play.
She cuddled me first, then I came out.
Now, I won’t come out any morning until after cuddle time.

The grudge thing is working for me.

Roll in the Hay

Ankles and I read about Tyler and Sydney's hay tubes. They are in The Qi Papers blog.
I have had rolling hay before.
I have not liked it.
Hay in tubes is neat and tidy.
That is a problem.
I can't bulldoze huge disintegrating wads of hay across the floor if it is in tubes.

Ankles stuffed some hay in a tube so we could take a disapproval photo.
I saw the tube of hay. I had a moment of open mindedness. I started eating the hay. Evil Stepsister came by to share the hay.

Sharing hay with Evil Stepsister is easy. She doesn't eat very much. Her teeth are all wrong for hay.
Then, Mr Ankles will come in and try to stop her eating hay because she throws it up.
It will be too late, she will throw up anyway.
Mr. Ankles will get upset and clean it up really fast.
Then he will say "Stupid rabbit." That's stupid because the rabbit didn't just throw up from eating something she knows will make her throw up.
It's pretty entertaining.
Entertainment is an important part of a good day.

I continue to mold and shape Ankles' behavior.

We are spending lots of morning floor time. We often eat lunch together. Evenings are bunpier.

I was getting my new litter basket with hay, and my pellets each evening. Ankles knows she cannot change my basket unless I get pellets first. Later we would have some sling time*. Then greens.

I got tired of waiting so long for my sling. It should be first! So I refused to eat my pellets. I refused to get out of the old basket. "No! I am not sick!"

I went to the pick-up area of my cage. I stared hard. Ankles reached for the old basket. I THUMPED the floor real hard! UNACCEPTABLE!

She changed the basket anyway. She said I was grumpy and went away.

I tried again the next night. THUMP! She figured it out. First we had sling, then pellets and new basket. That was better,

New problem: Two evening visits have become one.

I am blogging again.
Ankles had a very long sickness and could not help me.
When she started to get better, she just spent her time on the floor with me.
That was better than blogging.
My towel pile is even more fun to dig in when she watches.
She will give me pets if I go close enough.

This morning I was here, in my favorite hiding spot for watching outdoors.
Ankles came over and sat by me with her breakfast.
She ate something that smelled like it came out of the back of a chicken.
I chewed some pellets, preferring something that came out of the back of me.
We had a nice breakfast together and watched the Evil Stepsister outside.

This week is when I have been in The Family Room for one year.
This is me in one of my favorite spots outside my cage.

Inside my cage is my favorite spot most of the time.

My my towel pile is here. Under the chair. These are my personal towels. I can never get them arranged right.

You can see my phone book. Ankles gave it to me. She says I might need to make a call. She forgot to give me a phone.

Today is also Ankles' birthday. When I came here, I was Smallest Ankles rabbit. He lost interest. Ankles took over. She says it was her secret wish. She says it was the only way to convince Hairy Ankles to have a rabbit. Now I am officially Ankles' Rabbit. Good deal. Except she is lousy at growing basil.

It was so exciting. I did binkies on the floor.

On again. There was a blanket up there. I rearranged it. I mistook Ankles for the blanket and bit her. She didn't bleed.

I found out that rabbits can get lots of petting on the sofa.

First Grass of Winter

The first grass of the season is comming up.
This whole warren has come out of the burrow.
They are going to eat the new grass and have ball shaped poops.

Yesterday, Ankles made me new cage mats.
The mats are good because my cage floor is too slippery. It's a good cage otherwise. It's very homey. I like to rest in here more than under the chair.

Ankles peels the corrugated so it is comfy and not slippery.

"Too much ambience."

That is OK with me. I have more.

Ankles gave me this basket for chewing.
I didn't chew it.
I sat on it.
It was a good cage mat.
It was the size for meatloaf sitting.

Then I chewed it.
I stopped sitting in it.
Ankles was going to make me a new cage mat.
Then I sat on it.
She didn't make a mat.

So I chewed it more.
I also stopped sitting on it.

I need a cage mat.
My cage floor is slippery.
It is hard to meatlaof on.

Ankles made me a new mat yesterday.
It is peeled corrugated.
Very good for sitting.
Also for chewing.

The Evil StepSisters might want this basket for chewing.

Lagomorph is science for Rabbit. Science is stupid.
Today, this rabbit was in a bag. Ankles saw a rabbit in a sling. It was in a movie. A movie about autistic people. That means it had a lot of good ideas in it. Like rabbits in slings.

Today, I had to go in a sling. I didn't want to go in it. I became hysterical. Rabbits are good at hysterical.

I tried to get out. I tried the same thing over and over. I got bored.

Then it started to feel schmoozy.

Very schmoozy.

I stayed in.

I wouldn't come out.

Finally, there was banana. So I came out.

I have many baskets. They have short lives.

The best one is my cage mat. It keeps my feet from slipping on the floor. I never chewed my cage mat. Until Ankles went away for a week.

Then I chewed it. I could still sit on it.

Until I decided not to sit on it.

Last night Ankles said she would make me a corrugated mat. I decided to sit on my basket mat again.

Rabbits must work to remain mysterious.

BTW, I like my cage. Even if the door is open, I usually stay in.

Today I was a naughty bun. It was fun. I snuck up on an Evil Stepsister. She was pretending to ignore me. I snuck fast. I bit her tail. I jumped in the air. I ran away.

I think she' got it.
